No. For most standard pre-drilled doors, installation is straightforward. Most Veise deadbolts can replace an existing deadbolt using only a screwdriver, with no new drilling or hardwiring required. How do I choose the right lock for my home?
Choose based on whether you need remote access. Wi-Fi smart locks connect directly to your home Wi-Fi, so you can manage access remotely without a separate gateway. Smart Locks with Gateway work through the app within Bluetooth range and support remote access when paired with the compatible gateway.
