How to reset the lock?

1. Press and hold the "reset button" on the interior assembly for 5 seconds by using the reset tool, until you hear a short beep and green light flashes once.
2. Enter 123456#, after hearing 3 beeps and the latch extended, reset is successful.

Why can't the lock be found when adding the lock?

1. Before pairing, if the master password is changed on the lock, the lock will enter the locked state and cannot be found.
2. When adding, if the screen is not manually woken up, it will not enter the pairing mode and cannot be found.

What to do if the latch is stuck and cannot be turned?

Check whether the front and back panel of the lock are level with the ground, if there is a tilt to the sides, may lead to the latch stuck, at this time to re-install and adjust it.

Why the latch always extends/retracts in the opposite direction?

This situation indicates that the left and right doors are incorrectly identified, you could set to the correct direction through the DDlock APP, or reset the lock, re-identify the direction.

Why can't I use Master Password 123456# to open the lock after pairing with APP?

After the lock is paired with the APP, another new master password will be generated, which you need to check or change on the APP:
1. Select Lock Settings
2. Tap on Basics
3. Tap on Admin Passcode.

Why can't I see the latest records in the app?

When the Bluetooth or Veise G2 gateway are not connected, you can only view the record of using eKeys to lock/ unlock the door on App, other records cannot be viewed.
After connecting Bluetooth or Veise G2 gateway, you need to do the following steps to refresh to see the records:
1. Click Records
2. Click the icon on the top right corner
3. Click Refresh Records

 

Why I always see the door status close even if I open the door?

When getting the door lock status, you will see the door status and the lock status.
. Lock status tells if the lock is currently locked or unlocked. 
. Door status tells if the door is open or closed. But this status is based on the door sensor. The door sensor is currently in development.

How do edit, delete, or create custom codes remotely?

All generated passcodes can be created remotely without a gateway; However, editing, deleting, or creating custom passcodes requires a Sifely gateway or being within Bluetooth range of the lock.

What if the lock says "Operation failed" but doesn't say why?

You can refresh to try again, restart the app, and reinstall the app if necessary.

Why can't the automatic lock be used?

1. The automatic lock function needs to be opened manually
2. If it has been turned on manually, please check whether the privacy mode is turned on, the automatic locking will be disabled in the privacy mode.

How do I change the name of my lock?

1.Tap on "Settings" on the lock page. 
2.Tap on "Basics" 
3.Tap on "Name".

After changing the master code on the keypad, I can't find the lock in the app for pairing. How to change master code?

NOTE: Do not change the Master Code until pairing is complete. If the app does not find the lock or cannot connect, please reset the lock. After pairing is complete, you can change the master code in the app.

How to pair with the smart lock and use the app to control it?

First make sure your phone has Bluetooth turned on, second wake up the touch screen keypad and pair it in the app.

Can I change or delete a password that has been generated while I am outside?

To change the initially generated passcode and validity period, you must be within Bluetooth range of the lock or remotely via a connected Veise G2 Gateway (sold separately).
